Snicker Bar Cookies
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda 1 1/2 cups butter, softened 1 1/2 cups chunky peanut butter 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar 3 eggs, beaten 3 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 (14 to 16 ounces) package Snicker miniature candy bars, cut in half. If minitures are not available, you can use the fun sizes candy bars, cut in thirds.
Preheat oven to 350 °F. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and baking soda; set aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugars until creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Add peanut butter and mix well. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Warp dough around each candy bar piece forming a ball. Bake 12 to 18 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet; place on wire cooling racks. Store in tightly covered container.
